Ke Ahi

Howdy Fam bam  Self Isolation life means a lot of phone calls, emails, and time on the computer. I'm finally learning how to use Facebook haha. But more importantly finding out how to work. Elder Murdock and I are putting in the work. Work hard, play hard. And when I say play hard idk what I mean but hey it's chill gotta have fun.  So why the title ke ahi or fire? Because we did service at a members place and they had a fire going it was dope. Anyway it reminded me on a video called the refiners fire. It's a good video I'd recommend y'all watch it. But it talks about how we go through the refiners fire or trials that will define who we are.  That leads to one of my other favorite talks from last week's General Conference. HOPE

Hope y'all are safe and healthy and enjoying self isolation. This week was a pretty normal standard week other than the fact that General Conference was this weekend. For those who don't know what that is it's the living prophets and apostles speak to us. It was a solid 10 hours of spiritual nourishment and feasting.  As with every conference there's always some talks that stand out above the rest. Elder Neal A. Andersen's talk on spiritual experiences but hard will talk about that in another week. But what I wanted to talk about is the subject of this email.  Elder Jeffrey R. Holland's talk called the Pure Hope of Christ. No matter your Faith this is a great message for everyone and all of you should read it. But some of the things that stood out to me is, 1.  Hope is believing when there is so much around you telling you not to believe. There is always going to be reasons to doubt our beliefs in anything. The question and choice is will we let thos...
