Ke Ahi
Howdy Fam bam
Self Isolation life means a lot of phone calls, emails,
and time on the computer. I'm finally learning how to use Facebook haha.
But more importantly finding out how to work. Elder Murdock and I are
putting in the work. Work hard, play hard.
And when I say play hard idk what I mean but hey it's chill gotta have
fun.
So why the title ke ahi or fire? Because we did service
at a members place and they had a fire going it was dope. Anyway it
reminded me on a video called the refiners fire. It's a good video I'd
recommend y'all watch it. But it talks about how
we go through the refiners fire or trials that will define who we are.
That leads to one of my other favorite talks from last
week's General Conference. Spiritual Defining Memories. We all have
those experiences in our lives that we can't forget, we can't look past
and ultimately they help us become who we are.
My biggest one was probably at BYU and I'll never forget that day and
where I was. But we must hold on to those experiences. Elder Andersen
had a video going with his talk that I really liked. It essentially says
when we get into a dark path. Those memories
if treasured can lead us back to the light that is Jesus Christ and
Heavenly Father.
Well I hope y'all have another great week in isolation and working hard and playing harder.
Love
Elder Park
