ʻO nā mea i hana ʻia

Man what the nick just happened. Like literally what was this week. So coronavirus that thing is awful and because of it my companion went home for precautionary reasons. That happens on Wednesday, so I'm chilling with one of the Zone Leaders because the other Zone Leader went to be assistant. We were grinding and having some dope plans. Then Thursday night. our President calls the mission, rebukes us, then tells us we are having transfers on Saturday. 75% of the missionaries I got to know so well over the past 3 months are gone. Its a lot of change. And worse news of the week someone thought it was a good idea to give me a son.

For those of you who don't know what a son is missionaries who are new to the mission go to a training center for 3-9 weeks before going to their assigned areas. So the first 3 months of their mission is the "field" or in my case and my son's case Texas they are trained more. So I have a son now. His name is Elder Murdock and he is a dope son. So willing to do anything I love it.

He got thrown into the deep end this week too with Coronavirus canceling church we set up a ton of lessons. So we were jam packed on his first real day in the mission. Which comes to my thought of the week.

Last week we talked about using what you have to be successful and kind of adapting. Well I want to talk more on adapting because everyday it seems like something new is happening with this new plague we need to adjust. I'm needing to adjust with companion. I like to go go go but now I need to take time and make sure we are going at a good pace. So how do you need to adjust? Many missionaries went home. Pretty much everyone is at a work from home thingy. Its not our normal life but it's our new life. Do what you need to do.

All of this adapting and change happens because of Jesus Christ. His sacrifice allows us to be better. There is no growth in the comfort zone. So we need to grow ride now find a way to be effective. Find away to love those around you and especially those closest to you.

I'm alive. Have gotten Corona yet at least I don't think I have. Haha love y'all be safe. And if your in Hawaii go to the beach for me.
