Paulele i ke Akua

Howdy

This email is going to be a short one. This week was transfers and I'm getting transferred so we still need to clean and pack our stuff. I'm gonna miss Evan's Ranch and Indian Springs. They are 2 amazing wards and I have learned so much from them. Their youth especially has taught me how to be proud to be a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. While it's hard to leave and I am a little disappointed. I need to go where I'm told to go.

I'll be in the Austin ward for at least the next 6 weeks barring something crazy happening and my new companion is from Canada so that will be cool.  we met a little before and we came to San Antonio together so we are both 3 months out it's crazy.

Anyway cool story this week, we finally found and taught someone. I talked about her a couple weeks ago and we lost her contact information. We finally found her this week and taught her a little bit. She is a golden investigator and she was so willing to listen and do what we invited her to do. I'm sad I won't get to see her be baptized but she will.

Now for the Hawaiian lesson: Paulele according to Google translate means trust. That is one part of faith is having trust. Trusting that everything is happening for a reason. Right now and on my mission I have been forced to trust in the Lord. I'm not thrilled to be leaving Evan's Ranch/Indian Springs but I need to trust Austin is where I need to be.

Trust also needs to be in each other. Having a companion has showed me how much trust we need in those around us and how much trust I have in all of you. I've never been one who was very trusting, from when I was young but everyone who reads this has my trust and I know I can turn to all of you if I need anything. Being able to trust is a big relief because we cannot get through this life alone.

We went to TopGolf today and that’s another reason my email is kind of short.
