'A'ano Wela

Howdy y'all!

Hope you all are doing great. Had another busy and good week. We had a lot of lessons taught and we talked to a lot of interesting people. Had a Bible bash with a preacher that was a fun experience a very humbling experience. It wasn't really a bash it was him talking to us. I wanted to try and bash back but II would have gotten wrecked. I give this man respect he knows the Bible.

Now to the more fun parts of the week our fun story of the week. Every week we have what we call district council and thatʻs when a few missionaries get together and discuss how we can work best together and help invite  more people to come unto Christ. Anyway we always go to lunch after district council and we wanted wings so we went to Bdubs but that was closed. Then we went to a place named Pluckers and those wings were so good. Anyway the hottest sauce there is called Death sauce and if you eat 20 wings of that you get a picture on their wall of fame. Anyway one of the other Elders got a side of death sauce. Then he lost a game and had to drink the sauce. My story can't do this time justice. He chugged it and the waitress was freaking out behind us as he did it. There were some habaneros some other stuff. It was hot.

So why the long story of an Elder drinking hot sauce? what does it have to do with being a missionary or the gospel? Great questions, this story reminds me and I hope to remind you to have fun in what you do. Elder Beck has helped me remember to have a balance in having fun and being productive. Everything is better when we enjoy our time, when we like what were doing. You never work a day in your life when you love what you're doing. That is so true enjoy your life.

Now all the time isn't going to be enjoyable and we are going to have jobs we don't like. It's important to make time to do things you enjoy to keep your emotions and spirits positive. And Iʻm not saying that we shouldn't work hard I'm saying we do both. Work Hard Play Hard. Enjoy yourselves, no one likes a person who is always serious. Smile, laugh, tell a joke. And as always remember Jesus Christ and what He has done for you, when we remember Jesus Christ we can turn fun into joy.

So go out there this week and enjoy yourself make a new friend, play a sport, go to the beach, just smile more. I love yʻall
