Howdy Fam bam

Another Monday  another email. There are some whack people in Austin but it's pretty fun. On Saturday our bus driver was a preacher as well. Sunday we were walking behind a guy and he says who the F is following us. When we pass by, Elder Clark compliments his shoes and he then says he likes our fit. Then asks who we work for and sees our tags and says Dang y'all work for Jesus Christ. Those are just two of our great experiences in Austin and that doesn't  even say what happens in our apartment with habanero's. Good Times.

Well last week we talked about change and the difference between the Matthew scripture and the 3 Nephi scripture is that in Matthew only Heavenly Father is perfect. In 3 Nephi both are perfect showing that Christ was resurrected and we will be resurrected just like he was. That was a cool realization.

This week my study was based in pride and humility. There are some dope talks by General Authorities that talk about humility. I'd recommend the Greatest Among us by Elder Uchtdorf and Lord is it I? by Elder Uchtdorf and Meek and Lowly of Heart by Elder Bednar. Also I read this great talk titled "I Believe I can I knew I Could." (The subject of this email) by President James E Faust. It talked about the Little train that could and how we can be like that train. We may not be the biggest, we may not be the smartest but we have God and Jesus Christ on our team. We at times will be stretched to our limits but when we have a positive attitude we can completely those tasks. This really stuck out me because the times that we are stretched are the times we grow the most. We just have to trust and keep trying.

Love Y'all
