Mahalo a me piha

Hola Como Estas

This week has been a pretty interesting week. It was thanksgiving and that was like my first big holiday on the mission and boy was that a cool day. We also got 2 more elders move into our apartment and they are awesome. They're spanish elders and the coolest elders ever. Now there's 8 different elders in the apartment complex. We also got our car towed on Saturday night. Funny thing is we've been parking their for the past 5 months and aparently on Saturday they decided to tow it. I felt bad because one of the new Elders is new to the mission and is still on his first week and had to deal with that. That was an ordeal on Sunday.

That was the week and man did I eat so much food this week. Thursday was thanksgiving of course and I ate a lot at one members house. Then on Friday we went to this BBQ place called Rudy and we had so much food there. Our mission "grandma" I say that because they care for all the missionaries in my district made the missionaries like 12 pies and if you know me pie is one of my weaknesses. And of course all the leftovers we got to eat on Saturday and Sunday. Sunday I couldn't breathe after eating and Friday night whenever I laughed or coughed my core was sore. And I didnt do core until Saturday morning. I was full. That got me thinking of what do we fill ourselves with? Do we feast upon good things? Upon the words of Christ? things that bring true happiness and joy. Or do we fill ourselves with temporal happiness? Two conference talks are "What Lack I yet" (thanks mom) from October 2015 and Feasting upon the Words of Christ from April 2019.

As you read and as you ponder this week. Ponder a self evaluation of where you are. And as you do this self evaluation remember all the wonderful blessings Heavenly Father has given you. It's Thanksgiving its a time to be thankful so be thankful for something everyday.

Also it's officially Christmas season!

I love y'all
