Aloha
Hola Mi
Amigos
So apparently I'm
instagram famous now so please I don't do autographs except for sizable
donations to my missionary funds. For those who don't know what I'm talking
about, last week I talked about meeting this guy named Elder Ulissses S.
Soares. He's a leader of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter- Day Saints and
he posted a picture with me in it in one of his posts. Also, I can't actually
take donations but if you absolutely feel like it, you have your own agency to
choose so. In return a Book of Mormon will be sent to your door along with 2
young males or females with a message about happiness, joy, and aloha. Also,
side note, I'm on facebook with that same picture. the name is Tyler Park.
Other than being
instafamous now, it's been a fun week. It's funny I'm in an area with a lot of Hispanics
and because I'm brown they think I'm Hispanic and can speak Spanish so they are
spitting Spanish to me and I have no idea what they're saying. This lady
doesn't speak English but spoke really good Spanish and kept talking. It was
fun. It's also fun to be in a Texas rainstorm. When it rains it pours in Texas
and it was fun to walk in it. The lighting and thunder was pounding and the
next day it's like nothing happened. Then the next day it was freezing. Texas
was colder than Canada. The wind was cold it was a very cold day.
So last week we
talked about being humble and I appreciate all the responses I've gotten. There
is a common thread in what it means to be humble. Life is hard and we can't do
it on our own. We have to remember the Lord in all we do. The bad, we have to
trust the Lord that it will get better and our trials will be for our best. The
hard part of being humble is when all good is happening, will we remember the
Lord and be grateful. When all is going good it's easy to forget but hard to
remember. I invite you to remember the Lord in all things. Good, Better, Best,
Bad, ugly, and worse remember the Lord in everything because his hand is in
everything.
Going with the
theme of my previous emails a word to ponder for this week. Love or Aloha. The
2 greatest commandments involve love.
