Week 11: How Great Thou Art

Howdy

This week went by faster than last week. Finally got to see rain after about 8 weeks in Texas and the rain drops were pretty big. It wasn’t a big storm but it was still great to see the rain. We got to power wash a couple of Patios at Emerald oaks the retirement home we volunteer at and those patios were really dirty. Also Elder Ochoa came to visit on Thursday for some conference and that man speaks with the spirit. Having him and President Tveten was pretty amazing and a really good Zone Conference.

The cool story of this week so one of the wards I'm in got about 10 new families because of some ward realignments. Elder Pryde and I were planning on visiting every family on Saturday from about 3 till dinner. Every one of the 10 visits we texted all said they couldn't do it this Saturday. Right after each person told s no we got a text from a less active member who needed help moving. That was an awesome experience helping him move. It took a lot longer than we thought it was gonna and we missed our dinner appointment because when we finished it was time for us to head back to our apartment. But I didn't get hungry at all during the service because the Lord was telling us that what we’re doing was right. Had we not gone to help him, he wouldn’t have left the storage unit loading boxes till about 11 at night then he had to drive 13 hours to Tusan. Had even just 2 of the families we texted said yes we wouldn't have been able to help but Heavenly Father knew this man needed our help. Heavenly Father knows every one and he will put us in places that we need to be to help others.

Another spiritual thought this week from a dinner message that I thought was so cool. Elder Pryde shared Romans 8 which talks about the love of God and how we will never be separated from Heavenly Father's love. My companion did great and all I needed to add was one line, "There is nothing we can do that will ever make Heavenly Father stop loving us." I say that with 100% knowledge that it is true. We never have to feel alone because of the atonement and Jesus Christ felt everything and we never have to feel unloved because our Father in Heaven and Jesus Christ will always love us. That's a new thought but it is so true. Heavenly Father will always love each and every one of His children which is all of us. I also love y'all

Love y'all

The sun reminded me of the suns of Tattoine in Star Wars except for the fact it was missing a sun.

Yesterday for dinner we had Mole that was nice
