Patience, Service and More Service

Y'all is actually really fun to say.

Hope everything is going well with y'all. First thing I'd like to do is what I do a lot say sorry. My last email sounded like I was strongly discouraged about my area and it is tough some days but I love this area. The members are awesome, the food is great, and there is so much potential where I am. Everyone loves Jesus and hopefully they can see that this gospel is true.

This week went by really fast. It was filled with a lot of service. I love doing service. We went to the retirement home twice and they had a lot for us to do on Wednesday it was great. Then we went to a members home with some members to help put in some flooring and that was awesome. On Saturday we were out from 7 am -12 pm making bunks for kids who don't have beds to sleep on. That was an awesome experience. I also learned there missionaries aren't allowed to us any sort of saw. That was fun I was seeing some wood taking me back to freshman year woods with Joslin and my mission President was behind me. Of course I shook his hand then went to cutting wood. Well apparently we aren't supposed to do that.

Mosiah 2:17 And behold, I tell you these things that ye may learn wisdom; that ye may learn that when ye are in the service of your fellow beings ye are only in the service of your God.

The good news from this week were teaching people. All of them are active members. But hey were teaching or practicing. We have appointments now. It's awesome and the members here are great. We started teaching last night and it feels so good to be share the gospel. I love this gospel and what I love the most is that it's a gospel of doing not just listening. We don't just listen and believe because someone tells us to. We believe because we've all received our own answer. We've learned and we've asked if this is true and I have recieve an answer that the Book of Mormon is true and that Joseph Smith was a prophet of the Lord and we have a prophet today. The gospel has been restored.

When we work hard and be patient we the Lord will bless us.

Love y'all
